Our Story

A Quiet Beginning
Alabaster Heart Ministries began with a quiet yes, in a hidden season marked by surrender and obedience. In this season, the Lord began shaping something deeper than a ministry, He was forming a heart.
A heart that learned to sit in His presence. A heart that discovered that brokenness, when placed in the hands of Jesus, is never wasted.
That season began in the life of our founder, Jennifer Smith, and over time became a calling to create space for others to encounter the restoring presence of Jesus.
What God was doing in secret became an invitation, not to build a platform, but a calling to create spaces where hearts could gather and rest, be restored, be rooted in Christ, and encounter the same gentle, life-giving presence of God.

The name Alabaster Heart was inspired by the women in the Gospels who poured out costly perfume at the feet of Jesus. Their acts were remembered not for extravagance alone, but for the love and devotion behind them.
They came honestly.
They received mercy.
They worshiped with surrender.
Those moments in Scripture reveal a life formed in His presence and poured out in response. This ministry carries that same heartbeat, a life of devotion, gratitude, and courageous worship flowing from hearts that have been restored by His grace and love.
A Life Poured Out

The art of Kintsugi has also become an integral part of our story and a part of the foundation of Alabaster Heart. It is the practice of repairing broken pottery with gold. Instead of hiding the cracks, they are made part of the beauty.
This picture reflects what we have seen God do again and again.
Where the world sees damage, He sees a story worth restoring.
Where there were fractures, He fills the spaces with grace.
What was once broken becomes a testimony of redemption.
Alabaster Heart was born from this truth:
God does not discard broken pieces, He restores them and uses them for His glory.
Beauty From Brokenness
Formed in His Presence
Before there were gatherings, resources, or events, there was simply time spent with Jesus.
Seasons of listening.
Seasons of healing.
Seasons of being gently reshaped.
Out of that place grew a longing to create spaces where others could encounter the same.
Not rushed.
Not pressured.
Not striving.
But welcomed, seen, and invited to sit at His feet.

From Hiddenness to Invitation
What began in hidden obedience slowly unfolded into a calling to hold space for others. As the Lord brought women with similar longings for deeper roots in Him, Alabaster Heart grew, not through ambition, but through surrender.
Today, Alabaster Heart Ministries exists to create Christ-centered spaces where women can:
• Encounter the presence of God
• Experience healing and restoration
• Grow deeply rooted in Scripture
• Walk in identity, purpose, and worship
This is not a ministry built on performance, but on presence.
Not driven by pressure, but guided by the Holy Spirit.

The Story Continues
The story of Alabaster Heart is still being written in every woman who finds rest in His presence, in every heart restored, and in every life poured out in love.
And if you are here, perhaps your story is part of it too.
