A Heartfelt Note from the Founder of Alabaster Heart Ministries

Hello, Friend   I imagine sitting across the table with you at a local coffee shop. We would laugh, sip our coffee/tea, and chat about life and family. On some days, we would find ourselves helping one another navigate the hardships of life. We will more than likely end up talking about faith and Jesus. Even though I wish it were in person, I want to encourage you to seek Jesus in all things. You may be in a spot where you don't feel worthy enough, asking, "How can God love me where I am?" "I have messed up way too many times to be forgiven." Maybe you feel God has abandoned you. I want to share this truth with you today. No matter where you are in life or what you've done in the past, God loves you. He is with you. You are never "too far gone." Your past and your sins do not define you; God does. He welcomes you just as you are. He knows all things. He knows your past, what you struggle with, your hurts, and your brokenness. He knows all about the wrong decisions you've ever made ( & ever will make) — and He still loves you unconditionally.    The enemy of your soul would love nothing more than for you to stay where you are. He wants you paralyzed with fear, making poor choices that could lead to sin. He wants you sitting in guilt, shame, and feeling unworthy because of your past mistakes. He wants you to think that the world is more appealing than living a life for Jesus. The enemy of your soul does not want you living the joy-filled, abundant life that leads to wholeness and freedom that comes through Jesus Christ.    You may find yourself asking, "How do I find God?" It starts with admitting your need for Jesus and surrendering your life to Him. He sent His one and only Son to free us from our sins. He died on the cross, three days later, and rose again so we may have eternal life with Him.    John 3:16 says,  "God loved the world so that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life."    John 14:6 says,  Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. God offers forgiveness and eternal life; it is a gift that He freely offers to anyone who will believe in Jesus Christ. The Bible says that we are saved by grace through faith and not by our own good works (Ephesians 2:8-9). You don't have to have it all together. Once you come to know Jesus, you are a NEW creation! You have the power of the Holy Spirit living inside you. It is He who will refine you, mold you, and help you live a life honoring and pleasing to God. Sweet friend, where you spend eternity matters. God wants to spend eternity with you. His goodness is always pursuing you. His love for you will NEVER change, and NOTHING can separate you from His love.    If you haven't invited Jesus into your life, I encourage you to do so! It will be the best decision you ever make in your life. I would love to welcome you into the Kingdom of God, but no pressure, though; it is between you & God. You will find a guide to help you below when you are ready. Not sure what to pray? I have included a simple prayer for you to use. Whatever may be weighing you down, I encourage you to take it to Jesus. Find someone to talk with to sort things through. If you are living in sin, I encourage you to repent (turn away from it), ask for forgiveness, and lay it at Jesus' feet. Grace and truth are waiting for you with open arms.❤️   In His love,  Jennifer Smith

The Good News

“For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes,…”
Romans 1:16a

Are you feeling a nudge to accept Jesus? Do you feel a little tug at your heart? That very well could be the Holy Spirit prompting you to take your next step into everlasting life!

  • Do you believe that Jesus is the Son of God & died on the cross taking your sins away for good?

  • Do you believe that Jesus died on the cross and was raised from the dead and now seated at the right hand of the Father?

  • Are you repentative (sorry) of your sins?

  • Will you follow Jesus, surrendering your life to Him?

If you have answered YES,

Simply read the prayer below and surrender your life to the One who loves you the most, Jesus! He paid a high ransom for you and His goodness is always pursuing you, friend!

The first step is admitting

that we are sinners.

Romans 3:23

“For all have sinned, and

come short of the glory of God”

Romans 6:23

"For the wages of sin is death,

but the gift of God is eternal

life in Christ Jesus our Lord."

Believe that Jesus Christ is the
Son of God and that He is the
only way to obtain salvation –

to get to heaven. Although we
have done nothing to deserve
His love and salvation, God
wants to save us.

John 3:16-17

"For God so loved the world

that he gave his one and only

Son, that whoever believes in

him shall not perish but have

eternal life. For God did not

send his Son into the world to

condemn the world, but to save

the world through him."

John 14:6

Confess your sin and then your

faith in Jesus Christ as Savior

and Lord to others.

Romans 10:9-10

“That if you confess with your

mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and

believe in your heart that God

raised him from the dead, you

will be saved. For it is with your

heart that you believe and are

justified, and it is with your

mouth that you confess and

are saved”

“Jesus answered, I am the way

and the truth and the life. No

one comes to the Father except

through me”

I John 1:9

"If we confess our sins, he is

faithful and just and will forgive

us our sins and purify us all
